## How Post Approval Workflows Work in OneUp

When you're posting on behalf of a client — or even just another department internally — publishing without sign-off is risky. OneUp's post approval workflow adds a review step before anything goes live.

## How post approval works

- **Require approval before a post publishes** — toggle "Require post approval" on for any post, and it won't go out until it's been signed off
- **Notify team members automatically** — if the approver is a team member on your OneUp account, they get an email notification that a post is waiting for their review
- **Send approval requests to non-team members** — clients who aren't OneUp users can still be looped in to approve or reject content without needing their own login
- **Keep a clear record of what's pending** — approval-required posts are distinguishable in your queue, so nothing accidentally publishes before it's been reviewed

## Who this is for

This is built for agencies managing client accounts where the client (or an account manager) needs final sign-off, and for internal teams where legal, brand, or leadership needs to review content before it goes out publicly.

## Getting started

When scheduling a post in OneUp, toggle on "Require post approval" and choose who needs to sign off.
